She has put together a team of speakers who will help you learn what works in special needs ministry.

The Children’s Ministry Expo (CMX) is excited to offer a fast paced, special needs track for the very first time. This track is designed for people in churches who currently offer programs for their special needs community and those who are in the early stages of beginning one. Pre-Expo, July 6th, offers time to explore exhibitors with special needs products and general exhibitors before workshops begin on Thursday July 7th during the main event in Lexington, KY. The $25 admission ticket is the best “bang for your buck” opportunity for church staff and volunteers to learn about special needs inclusion. Make plans now to join us in Lexington, KY!

Children’s Ministry Expo (CMX) is the largest gathering of resources in Children’s Ministry. In addition, CMX offers a spectrum of KidMin workshops on 3 tracks: leadership, basics, special needs. CMX is a one day, fast and furious experience! This is THE event for anyone in childrens/family ministry who wants to see/touch/handle a wide variety of resources and learn from prominent ministry leaders.

The momentum is building, and I am excited. Our second year of the Children’s Ministry Expo (CMX) is coming to Lexington, KY on July 7.

With nearly 140 resource providers in 2010, CMX hosted the largest number of exhibitors of any Children’s Ministry event. The $25 fee, convenient location and popular workshop leaders promise to make CMX the go-to event for ministry leaders serving children and families.

No general sessions. No long winding hallway trips looking for your next workshop. No expensive conference fees. No complicated conference center maps. No massive luggage to pack.

Just lots of resources, lots of cool people, and great new ideas all in one place! And where else can you sit on Jim Wideman’s sofa while he plays guitar?

Some of the highest profile leaders in Children’s Ministry will be conducting workshops at CMX. They include Jim Wideman, Amy Fenton Lee, Michael Chanley, Jeremy Collins, Gina McClain, Jenny Funderburk, Dale Hudson, Greg Baird, Tony Kummer, Justyn Smith, Roger Fields (me) and more. At an attendees cost of $25, CMX is a compelling one day event for anyone leading a Children/Family Ministry.

Another unique feature of CMX is the vendor Scoops. Scoops are 20 minute info-segments delivered by vendors at their exhibit space. This is an awesome way to learn about resources directly from the people who created them. A variety of Scoops are scheduled every half hour, all day long. You will be given a Scoops schedule when you check in.

Now is the time to register for CMX. Tickets for CMX are only $25. That gets you access to all workshops, all Scoops and the exhibit hall. THIS IS NOT A MISPRINT. No hidden costs. No hidden fees. Just an amazing opportunity to see it all in one place. And learn from some of the coolest people in childrens/family ministry.

President of Kidz Blitz Ministries
