What are CMX Scoops?
Scoops (skoops) –noun Informal. News, information, or details, esp. as obtained from experience or an immediate source: What’s the Scoop on this creative, kidmin masterpiece you want me to buy?
A Scoop is an opportunity to tell a captive audience why your product or ministry will benefit their children’s program. Attendees love the chance to hear your “Scoop” in an informal group setting without having to approach you for information and incidentally pressure to buy. How do Scoops work?
Scoops are exhibitor-led classes conducted by you in your exhibit space. People will crowd around your exhibit to listen. Use this time to explain how your product works or share something practical with your listeners that they can take home and apply to their ministries, even if they don’t have your product. Title your Scoop to appeal to anyone, or give it a title relative to your specific product.
You may be asked to rename your Scoop if another Scoop is scheduled with the same or a similar title. Each Scoop will be given a pre-determined 20-minute time slot. Every CMX attendee will be given a printed Scoops schedule. Multiple Scoops classes will be held simultaneously throughout the day.
Microphones, stereos and sound systems are not permitted.
Your Scoop will be cancelled if you attempt to use them.
Download the Scoops Request Form (above) and return before June 6th.
